I’m looking to ditch my last ICE car and go fully electric. I’m looking for an SUV and have narrowed it down to a few options. Rivian is near the top of my list but the reliability is the one red flag I have. I have a service center opening about 30 minutes from me soon and I don’t mind taking it in at my leisure to fix minor issues, but my wife being stranded on the side of the highway is a deal breaker.

Has the reliability been improving over time? Are the issues catastrophic or mostly inconvenience problems? Has the service been incrementally improving as time goes on?

Trying to get a feel if this is going to be an ongoing problem or just temporary growing pains.
