Requirements for applying to the University of Pavia IMS

Hi, I am planning to apply to the University of Pavia for medicine as a non-EU student. First, I thought that pre-enrollment through Universitaly and then sitting for the IMAT exam would be enough, but the more I research, the more I find that there are many other steps and different requirements for different countries. I am Canadian, but Canada isn't listed on their website. For US requirements, they state that students must have taken at least 3 APs, etc. However, as a Canadian, I only have 1 AP. I emailed the university, and they didn't exactly answer my questions, so I'm quite stuck. Also, I don't know if I need to do pre-evaluation and how and when I have to do that and if there is anything else I need to do. I would really appreciate your help if you know anything about this process. Thank you.

Hi! I am a Canadian student who will be graduating from high school in Ontario this June and is willing to apply for medicine in Italy. I want to apply to the University of Pavia or Bologna, but the cut-offs for non-EU students are really high, and there are so few seats for us. I started studying for the IMAT, but not too much because I am still in school. However, I am graduating in the middle of June, so I will have 3 months to study for hours every day. My question is, which university should I choose right now as pre-enrollments are open, because I don't exactly know what level I am at. I looked at the 2025 IMAT paper, and I covered almost all the topics in high school, and they don't seem too hard to me. But because I studied them months ago, I don't remember them exactly. I would really appreciate it if you could tell me about your experience and give me some advice on what I should choose. And if you scored 65+, how much time did you spend studying? Thank you very much.
