Filler gone wrong(ish). How to address with Doctor?
I just had filler 2 weeks ago (Juvaderm) that usually gives me higher cheeks and fill in some hollowness. I’ve had it a few times before from the same dermatologist and it’s been flawless.
This time it didn’t go as well, possibly because we did a Vbeam touchup afterwards.
It created some lumps in my cheeks that look like cystic acne.
This particular dermatologist is the top of the class and is actually a Trainer all over the USA for others for filler and Botox.
The service was over $5000 and usually last about 18 months. I know that seems insane, but I basically think it’s putting off a facelift (which I cannot do right now due to work). It also takes me from pretty to way more pretty.
What should my expectations be for them to fix this? I’m very nervous to get anything dissolved.
Also, I don’t expect to have to pay for it and I’m just looking for the right way to communicate that!
