I’m looking for a game that really captures the “my car is my lifeline” vibe. I loved Mad Max for the combat, vehicle customization, and overall atmosphere, but I didn’t like how fuel was barely an issue and never really felt important.

I’m trying to find something similar, but with stronger survival mechanics where resources actually matter—things like fuel, food, water, hunger, scavenging, and keeping your vehicle running. Basically, a game where both you and your car are struggling to survive in a harsh world.

Edit: another game I enjoyed was project zomboid with is mechanics skill and vehicle aspects as well as combat.
