Hi y’all. I’m 48. The second photo is me most mornings lol — vey puffy and you can see skin laxity better than later in the day when I’m less puffy (like the first photo). Pretty minimal with my skincare routine and am looking to add a thing or two that could be beneficial. I use spf religiously (I’ve had 5 skin cancers removed already!), vitamin C serum in the morning, and tretinoin .025% at night most nights. I also use my estrogen cream once or twice a week on face and neck.

I’d love to do some sculptra or lasers one day but for now all I can afford is to add some actives or some kind of DIY solution. My eye bags bum me out sometimes. Not sure what nonsurgical options there are for that, though! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Hi all, just wanted to commiserate. (Let me start by saying I understand that starter doses are technically supposed to be sub-therapeutic). A couple of years ago I tried compounded semaglutide shots. My first month on the starter dose I lost 8 lbs and from day one was glued to the toilet with nausea and diarrhea!! It’s one of the reasons I stopped after a few months. Intolerable side effects.

I decided to give the pill a shot, hoping it might be different for me. Well, one month in and I have zero side effects, zero weight loss. I’m so grateful that my stomach isn’t bothered (yet, haha), but it does strike me as curious. Anyone else have a similar or different experience?

For reference, I have tried waiting longer between pill and eating, with no noticeable changes in appetite suppression. I’m just noticing how different my experience was with the shot!
