Hi everyone,
I used Packlink for a shipment:
- Paid: €69.03
- Service: up to 30kg (80x40x40 cm)
- Declared weight: 31.9kg
After delivery, they charged me an extra €103.16 claiming the parcel was 1.9kg overweight.
What concerns me:
- No evidence of the actual weight was provided
- I requested proof (scale records, photos, etc.) and got nothing useful back
- The extra fee is completely disproportionate to the original shipping cost
I’ve now escalated it via my bank (chargeback) as an unauthorised/disputed charge.
Has anyone else experienced similar issues with Packlink?
Would appreciate any advice on how you handled it.
