So, ive been living with my aunt (46F) and my uncle (48M) for almost 5 years now through foster care because i am under 81🔄. they have lacked care for our cats since ive been living here. they’ve went through 30+ cats and they only live up to 3 years since my family is insisting that they be indoor/outdoor cats. They also do a ton of foster care with me being apart of 3 foster children, 2 adopted toddlers, and their severely special needs son(18). my uncle has constantly made jokes about killing the cats and always jokes about how he hopes bears, coyotes, etc should eat the cats so we don’t have to deal with them but says he hates animals because he doesn’t like seeing them neglected. we currently have 4 cats and i recently found out that my aunt doesnt give them water because theres someones pond across the street and theres puddles everywhere and she doesn’t want to take on another responsibility, but she wants to get a dog and train it herself in august and also wants to get the 3 kids two mice each (which she also doesn’t care about if the habitat is correct because ive asked her) and also wants more foster kids which would be way more responsibly than if she gave our cats the bare minimum?? and our one cat got hit by a car and wasnt taken to the vet to get a check up and her neck is permanently tilted and shes wobbly and falls over all the time and shes aware that she’s declining and just doesn’t care. shes always laughing and making jokes that she’s disabled but you can clearly tell that she is in pain and i want to file a police report (NYPD) but i dont know if that’s enough to get her in trouble but i can’t stand not being able to do anything due to age and i need to advocate for these animals because i cant stand to see them neglected so please help me move forward with what i should do
