how to get into becoming a drone videographer?

Hi all,

I got gifted the dji mini 4 pro from my dad. I really enjoy flying it. I had a cheap drone a really long time ago that I would fly around for fun and shoot videos. However it broke and I never bothered fixing it or getting a new one. Now that I have the mini 4 pro, and I am older and more careful now (lol), I want to make good use of it. I was thinking of using it to shoot videos for weddings or other events. Or partner with real estate agents to shoot videos for their listings. I already talked to claude about this. I know I need to get certified by the FAA as a Remote Pilot. Other than that it seems like a matter of learning to pilot the drone through practice.

If you have had any experience in being a drone videographer either as a side hustle or professionally, I would love to learn more about the steps you took and input/advice you have if you had to start over again. Thank you.

How long does writing the actual narrative take you on a typical CRE assignment?

Hi everyone — I'm a software engineer doing research on workflows in professional services before building anything. I've been curious about commercial appraisers specifically.

My question is about writing appraisal report narratives: how long it takes and what the workflow looks like?

I'm not pitching anything — genuinely in the learning phase and would appreciate any honest takes from people actually doing this work day to day. Happy to share what I learn if there's interest.
