genuine question for married people who have a good relationship with their old family (parents/siblings) but also have their own family (spouse/children) that might help me figure out some of my own shit: assuming you love them both, which one would you put first if it came down to it? your old family or your new family?
please be honest even if the answer isn’t pretty
