Charged ₹10,000 for ₹4,400 MRP RAM & given a fake bill. Need advice!

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for some help/advice on how to deal with a blatant scam. I recently purchased a Crucial 16GB DDR4 3200MHz SODIMM RAM

The Situation:

The Price: I was charged ₹10,000 for the RAM (plus ₹250 for delivery).

The Reality: When the product arrived, the box clearly shows an MRP of ₹4,400.

The "Bill": After asking repeatedly, the seller sent me a basic typed "invoice" on WhatsApp. It has no GSTIN, no stamp, no signature, and no product serial number. It’s basically a piece of junk paper.

The Seller: The payment was made via UPI

Evidence:

I have photos of the box with the ₹4,400 MRP sticker, the UPI transaction screenshots, and the "fake" invoice they sent me.

I know I shouldn't have paid that much, but current market availability made me desperate. Now that I see the MRP is less than half of what I paid, I feel completely robbed. The seller is stalling on providing a real GST bill.

Should I push for a full refund or just the overcharged amount (₹5,600)?
