Should I ask my gym crush out?
Long story short, 7 weeks ago. I decided to talk someone interested, basically had physique and a lot of skillsets that I was working on. She basically prob solid 1-2 years ahead of me.
Nothing crazy 1st month, mainly 1x week talking her. I initiated all convos. She would always go out of her way smile and waved at me, Close proximity, I would catch a lot of stares from afar, and never when close.
After 1st month, I thought probally nothing just friendly and imagined it given I inniate convos. I went on a business trip and was out of the gym for a week. The last couple weeks things I can't explain it, but I felt more off as I could be imagining, but vibe changed.
1st week back, she started to inniate talking me 2x that week for a while longer than normal convos. I felt like that was a good sign, but then proximity dropped and felt if she was trying not to be near me. I still noticed a lot of glances from afar.
2nd week back, we talked again 2x this week longer. I inniate one and she did the other. She remembered alot of details said things past. Proximity came back and entire week, I'm always 1st one their but noticed she happened always be their b4 me this week.
I just finished my last workout for the week yesterday, and I was pretty sleep deprived today, so I said hi but was not really mentally their. Idk vibe just felt different notice on 2x occasions she went out of her way pick machine rn next me and when I left couple mins later go somewhere else she would also soon after across entire gym. She kinda walked out of her way and used my name 1st time to say goodbye, which I have not said since prob 7 weeks ago.
I will preface. I think above could just be alot of interpretations go either way as just friendly. I could be imagining. Mainly reason starting wonder is bc I actually have few other friends at gym go to and long story short, vibe/social interactions just feel very different. They all are a lot more direct and just straight up always come up to me very open way.
