What are the best resources for learning how modern HR/People Ops actually works at a deep level? [N/A]

I've spent time at companies that operate with more advanced HR structures — things like People Operations (the model Google popularized through Laszlo Bock), HR Service Centers, Enablement functions, Talent Acquisition Ops, and Employee Resource Groups (ERGs).

What I've noticed is that most content online explains what these things are, but rarely how they actually work in practice, the workflows, the decision logic, the org design behind them.

Specifically, I'm looking for:

  • Resources (blogs, newsletters, books, communities) that go deep on modern People Ops frameworks
  • Practitioners or thought leaders who share operational detail, not just high-level concepts
  • Real examples of how these functions are structured at companies doing it well

The frustration I keep running into: most "HR influencers" stay at the surface level. They describe the concept but skip the mechanics.

Does anyone know where the serious practitioners actually share their knowledge?

Does Logitech has an app like a stream deck but using my cellphone?

I always have my phone there with not use at all while working and a hardware of stream deck would take space in my desktop. Do you know if there is an app that syncs with my LogiOptions+?

Thanks in advance!

I worked with Workday in different companies but never dug deep into the Business Processes nor deep configuration.

Is there a way to learn it as an outsider?
