I have ordered a 4.02 oval for an incredible price (I ordered from William & Son jewelers in San Diego who once again beat Aurelinne’s price). Specs are great - just slightly slightly deeper than ideal but it looked great on paper and in the video. Of course final evaluation will be in person. Disclaimer: I had to grab the video from another site.
My question is, I ran the IGI report and video through 2 different AI sites to get an evaluation. The one is telling me that the bow tie is pretty evident and it is a mid-tier stone. I am still learning (as AI always is!) so my question is how are people seeing these these types of cut/light concerns on these videos? Are they looking frame by frame if it is not overly evident? It’s my understanding that these videos have ideal lighting and the camera is far away with a zoom to reduce shadows. I just do not see it here. 😅
Anyway, I am hoping that the AI eval is overly harsh and she is a stunner. We’ll see…
