After we got out of the newborn trenches and we started getting a sense of normalcy again, it felt like we had all the time in the world compared to the first 6-8 months of his life.
Now he's going on two, and I would still say we have "time" but holy fuck how does anyone have the energy. I can barely keep up with working full time, social obligations, and my house never being clean. At what point did you REALLY start to get some time back? I thought we were getting there, but the energy we're expending is just different now that he's older.
