After niche change my views dropped – how long until YouTube recovers a channel?

Hey everyone,

I originally built my YouTube channel around UEBS content.

Recently, I changed my direction:

  • I started streaming regularly
  • and now I cut those streams into gameplay / highlight videos

Since this change, my views have dropped significantly compared to before.

What I’m trying to understand is:

How long does it usually take for YouTube to “re-evaluate” a channel after a niche/content shift?

And for people who have gone through something similar:

  • How did you know when the algorithm started picking your content up again?
  • Is this initial drop in views normal after a content transition?
  • Is there anything that actually helps speed up the recovery process?

I would also really appreciate constructive criticism on my current direction or channel strategy.

You can find my channel linked in my Reddit profile if you need context.

I’m not just looking for reassurance – I’m genuinely trying to improve and understand what I might be doing wrong or missing.

Thanks a lot for any honest feedback 🙏

Link vs Iron Man in MUGEN – who actually wins?

I’m setting up a big MUGEN tournament with a bunch of protagonists from different universes, and one matchup got me thinking:

Link (Legend of Zelda) vs Iron Man (Marvel)

Both have insane versatility:

  • Link has tons of weapons, items, and different versions (BOTW, OoT, etc.)
  • Iron Man has multiple suits, crazy firepower, and flight advantage

In a MUGEN fight, where things can get pretty chaotic… who do you think takes this?

I made a short teaser of the matchup – curious what you guys think 👀
