Can I pull out my enrollment in PLM?

Hi! I just received an email from PLM, saying that I must submit my F138, F137, and Birth Cert on June 3 (8am). Coincidentally, the results for the DLSU SFA scholarship releases on June 3, and UP will also probably give an update regarding their waitlisted applicants.

What should I do? PLM also gave me a request for my F137 from my SHS school, and I have yet to submit it. I must also upload the requirements in the portal before June 3.

For context, PLM kinda became my safety net. I really want to pursue DLSU, but I need a scholarship for it. As for UP, I’d choose it over PLM if ever I get out of the waitlist.

If ever I do pass my requirements on site and on the portal, can I still pull it out? If so, how?

To be brief:

- I got waitlisted in UPM BS Biology

- I passed DLSU BS Human Biology, but I need a scholarship since I can’t afford DLSU

- I passed PLM and secured a slot in BS Biology

- I passed DLSMHSI BS Biochem, but I also need a scholarship

Here’s the situation: I have these four options for college (I also passed FEU and CVSU, but I put them at the bottom of my list).

My top choice is UP manila, I have been waitlisted for BS biology, meaning that I would probably have to wait until may or june to see if I can have a slot (or longer if I get moved into DPWAS).

If I don’t get a slot in UP, next choice is DLSU Manila. But I need a scholarship to be able to study there, my family cannot afford la salle without scholarships. I plan to either push through with humbio and change medschools after my 3rd year, or request a change of program (either premed physics, med bio, or mbb). Right now, I’m applying for the SFA scholarship. But the thing is, our household’s annual income could exceed 900k (due to my sister’s income, but my parents alone would only have an annual income of 200k); which people say would get me little to no scholarship grant in SFA. But my sister still struggles financially since she contributes to the bills, the groceries, and she also has her own debts to pay off (afaik may hinuhulugan siya na house of her own). I could also apply to CHED but the timeline might conflict with my safety net university’s enrollment period.

Next is either PLM BS Biology or DLSMHSI BS biochem. For hsi, I also need a scholarship (i plan to apply for the entrance scholarship, which compared to SFA, i think is more doable), and if I really dont get one, I have to stick to PLM. I have finished my pre-enrollment procedure in PLM, and I have a slot. Basically PLM is my safety net

Ultimately, I really want to pursue DLSU (always been my dream uni and course :<), but our financial situation says no—so i put UP as my top option.

But im worried about the dates that could clash. If PLM opens its enrollment period, it’s gonna limit the time that allows me to continue on to wait.

Please give me any form of advice, anything really, anything that could help me in this situation (cuz im at the verge of going insane 😭😭😭😭😭😭)

I recently browsed the portal, and saw na may BS Bio in medical biology pala 😭😭. I passed BS Bio, and I was wondering what the difference between the two is?

Also, considering na I’m taking it as pre-med, which course would be a better choice?

Andd is it still possible to request a change of progs? From bio to medbio?

Hi! I got accepted into my first choice course (BS bio), and I was wondering how you can know if you’re qualified for their accelerated prog? I recently browsed the portal kasi, and I saw EMED sa course choices, which was not there before.

And I was wondering if kailangan ilagay sa choices for them to consider you as an applicant for their accelerated course?

Also, is it possible to request a change of program to EMED?
