Screen flickers black when screensharing or recording
Ever since I got my computer back from Geek Squad, I've been having issues with screensharing. I recently had to take it there due to issues involving the processor. However, this wasn't known at the time, so they wiped my computer. What they didn't know is that I had a secondary drive where I keep most of my stuff, and they had to send my D Drive over to Kentucky so they could recover as much data as they could. Luckily it was at no additional charge thanks to being a complete accident on their part. Eventually they did that, putting all my data on a USB drive while plugging my empty D Drive back into my computer, and getting it all set up again. However, when I got it back, there were a couple of issues.
First things first, the search function seemed bugged. Whenever I open it up, it's either a white screen, or a blank search menu. While the search function still works, it is weird how it looks like that. It's probably unrelated, but I figured it was worth mentioning just in-case it somehow turns out to be relevant. However... What's bugging me the most is that whenever I screenshare on Discord, the screen flickers black for every few seconds for anyone who watches it. While people watching my streams don't seem to be bothered about it too much, I would much rather prefer that the problem simply wasn't there. I tried everything from disabling Hardware Acceleration on Mozilla, Discord, and Windows, but what's weirding me out the most is that it appeared to be working just fine after disabling hardware acceleration on Discord for a bit, it seemed to stream just fine. However, when I reenabled it so that I could watch videos on a friend's YouTube activity, it started acting up again. I figured this would be as simple as turning hardware acceleration off for Discord, but it seems even after I did that, I've still been experiencing issues with screensharing. This problem seems to be happening with recording too, so I'm wondering if the problem could possibly be something else.
Any help on this would be appreciated as this problem is bothering me to all heck and I just want it to be fixed so I can go back to screensharing games for my friends. That is all.
