Hit Legend with Egglock in a Meta Full of Warriors and honestly, Tempo HS Has Never Felt Better
I’ve been climbing with DH and especially Egglock lately, and the matchup spread has been way more interesting than I expected. Egglock has been absolutely farming Priests and Hunters for me, while still holding a surprisingly solid winrate into Warriors and Paladins.
What’s crazy is that some of the cards in those meta decks feel completely absurd right now, especially the swing turns Warrior and Paladin can create out of nowhere. The tempo spikes can be insane. But at the same time, I genuinely think this is one of the best Hearthstone metas we’ve had in a long while.
Older metas felt way too combo-heavy, where games were decided by solitaire setups and unavoidable OTKs. Now the game feels much more focused on board control, tempo, and actually fighting for turns, and I’ve been enjoying that a lot more.
And honestly, hitting Legend for the first time with a non-meta deck like Egglock made it even better.
