Got to Play Renditions in Maryland.
What an amazing course! It’s outside of dc/baltimore/annapolis, About 70 a person for a weekday morning tee off and a very good value. They have the entire amen corner, sawgrass 17 and oakmonts church pew bunker. My dad and I went off and they did pair us with a single but overall was a very relaxing time. I will say the course did play very slow for us, tee times every 10 minutes, there was also a group infront of us who was playing too slow, the group behind caught up to us on multiple holes. We took about 4.5 hours for all 18 holes, 10am to around 2:30pm. I ended up shooting 96 (par 72), my dad 104, but I ended up getting par on their sawgrass 17 replication, which is smaller than the actual. You also get a beer equal to your score after the game, my 96 was 96 cents and my dad’s $1.04, a very fun promotion. The carts also had GPS which worked well, let you keep score, notified you of cart path only, blind spots, carts on the course etc. and even played the cbs broadcast music from the masters on the amen corner. The last thing I’ll mention is the snack shack which you encounter at the end of holes 5, 12 and 15 and is kept well stocked and has a restroom. Overall it’s a great course at a good price and fun to play some of golf’s most infamous holes. Also if you make it an overnight I recommend the Annapolis Waterfront Hotel in downtown Annapolis, wonderful hotel and you can explore the city.
