Hi r/eldercare,

I'm the founder of Properdose. We make an automatic pill dispenser designed for connecting families and automating care.

The problem that pushed me to build this: a close family member missed a critical cardiac medication for three days because no one realised. The medication was there, the intent was there - but the system wasn't.

Happy to talk about:
- How medication non-adherence in Indian elders is a bigger crisis than people realise
- What a smart dispenser actually does vs a pill box or phone reminder
- The challenge of building hardware for India (humidity, power cuts, elderly UX)
- Our pricing philosophy — we didn't want this to be a luxury product

Disclosure: Yes, I'm the founder. Properdose is our product. Ask me anything - including the hard questions.
