It's been over a year since THAT CHARACTER died. What is your opinion on how they died, how it impacted the story and what its purpose was?

When Einar died in chap 218, in the moment it really felt like i lost someone close to me. Damn i couldn't hold back tears and almost couldn't turn the page.

But i was kind of surprised how quick the story moves on from this death and how small of an impact it had compared to the other major deaths.

I would've loved to see a few more chapters exploring how losing someone close to Thorfinn could affect him in his adult years. Instead the manga ended two chapters later. Which also lead to the story not really having time to handle the loss of the secondary protagonist.

I would love to hear you guys' opinion on it!

I'm still pretty confused on what side Dera and Hana are on. Are they on the side of the Kagemori clan or Higashi village? Or are they on the twins' side?

Never noticed this before but in the MORE chapter. Deku also has his own billboard ad, it's different from the one in the anime. Unfortunately i can't really decipher what's written on it.

This might just be the way Arakawa is writing the story, more focusing on the plot and the dissapearance of the twins' parents. But even if that might be the case, i just don't really care a lot about the characters.

I mean i want to, but Yuru isn't that an interesting character for me, he isn't really that emotional, even after losing his entire worldview. Of course, him not being emotional is part of his hunter persona, but if he's not really hung up too much about everything, i can't really care too much either.

Asa on the other hand is more fun to watch, and i want to see more of their dynamic but they're seperated from most of what i read. Which is weird cause i thought they would be the main focus.

What's also weird is that where i'm at in the story, is at a point where it focusses a lot more on the Kagemori clan instead of Yuru's search. I don't really care about the Kagemori clan, they're cool and all. But there aren't any characters in there that i really care for. And now the story wants me to care about them.

Maybe it's all because the story doesn't grab me as much? I really expected this story to be an emotional journey filled with character bonds, but the story currently can be summirized by:

''we have to find out about this mystery and we don't care about eachother except from when we need something.''
