Remitly | £10 off your first £100 transfer to yourself
Remitly is offering £10 off your first international transfer of £100 or more, so you only pay £90 upfront. If you do not need to send money abroad, you can send it to your own foreign currency account instead.

Make a transfer of at least £100 to your foreign currency account, and the £10 discount should appear at checkout.
If sending to Wise, select Wise as the destination bank and enter the IBAN rather than a UK sort code and account number . So accounts like revolut might not work in this case
Once the money arrives, (mine arrived within an hour) convert it back to GBP and withdraw it to your normal bank account.
Please note:
- Remitly charges a £1.49 fee per transaction, and the amount you receive depends on the payment method used.
- When converting the foreign currency back into GBP, you will lose a bit in exchange fees, so the final profit may be around £8 rather than the full £10.
- I was not asked for ID when making the transfer, but it was requested later during verification.
