I would like to find out which private student insurance will be acceptable for those who are coming to Germany for studying? I am over 30 years, so do not qualify for TK or other government insurance polices. If you have taken one and had a good experience, please do let me know.

Do we have to get a housing contract before you apply for visa? I can't find any concrete answers and sitting far away, I am wondering if I might get scammed if I sign up for a lease. How did you all apply for your student visa - with or without a housing contract?

I am in a pickle here as I am not able to get all the information I need to start my application process. I completed my 10th and 12th grade in an Indian school (CBSE) from UAE but I finished my bachelors and masters in USA. My qualifications include Bachelors in Engineering and Masters of Science in Management. I am applying for German program and would like to know, if I need an APS certificate for my highschool degree. Has anyone been in this situation before?
