So i'm going to change my motherboard and install a new windows key (going from windows 10 to 11) since i can't upgrade it with the parts i have. the guy that's going to change my parts told me i had to store my files or i would lose them. so is it fine if i store everything from my local drive (C:) to the D: drive? and also i use my pc almost exclusively for games, do i care about the other files on the C: or is it ok if i just move the games' files and the steam file for example?
