Want your Kobra X / Kobra 4 to feel more stable, vibrate less, and be noticeably quieter?
The following is just a humble design to improve the impressive Kobra X / Kobra 4 stability, vibration compensation, and significantly quieter operation; all of this in pursuit of perfect results.
What’s included
- Base adapter (snug fit): single-foot or double-foot version (your choice)
- TPU feet files (Bambu-style) in 3 stiffness levels (tested with 95A TPU)
- Tested before vs after: smoother motion + less vibration + quieter printer ✅
Installation (don’t panic, it’s easy)
- Remove the original feet
- Install the new base (single or double)
- Push in the feet — snug fit, no drama
- Afterwards, you will need to run the resonance calibration test.
Notes (read this so future-you doesn’t sigh)
- Front & back feet: work with single + double base
- Feet under the Z-axis: single base only
- Prints in place, no brim, no supports
(Seriously… don’t use supports with my design. 😆)
- I tested 5 stiffness levels and included the best 3 for any setup (softest worked best for me)
- Hate TPU? Fair. You can also buy the original feet online and just print the base adapter
