I saw this guy at my LFS while buying some supplies for my community aquarium, and I kind of fell in love. I went back three days later, and he was still there, so he came home with me to take up residence in a smaller cycled aquarium I have in my office that was sitting there with just some plants, snails and shrimp in it.

He’s my first betta in more than 20 years! I didn’t really plan to end up with a betta again, but here I am.
