Promising moment testing PR Barbatos/Zaft
Early in testing a Purple Red Zaft-y Barbatos deck and it's pulled off some really big swings like the one in the video here. I know Wingtable is far from perfect, mostly just clicking through to see if the idea has legs, but it's been really promising. Obviously obliterating four units off the board feels incredible. Usually Saviour pulls off a 2 for 1 but this was a fun little turning of the tide against the Zeon Rush deck.
The ratios are definitely not optimal, still playing around with things. 4 stealth strategem has been nice in testing. I've also liked the Shuji's Hideouts, although an AI opponent doesn't consider the implications of the 1 damage I can do the same way a human would because the SHs get to eat a unit more often than not.
Have been playing for only a few months now but have put together a few decks. Mostly have only played with a few friends so it hasn't been an issue, but I've been putting on-theme resources with the decks and ST09 also had that Ex Base.
People who play in locals / NTC/ and even regionals, do you just run the generics for those? Or do you not really care? I used to play competitive MtG so I'm used to things like making sure all copies of a card in a deck have the same artwork so your opponent can't get any extra information, but curious what people's experiences have been with resources so far.
Cheers and thanks everyone
If this is too much against the rules, will take down, but not advertising just looking for some input.
Recently opened a ST04 God Deck! It was pretty exciting but ultimately I'd rather use it to get another st04 and some sealed/singles. I don't want to sell one by one on TCG Player, and it seems like the one store near me that accepts singles may only want a few / lowball me on it pretty hard.
Curious what others who have moved their decks have done / what the experience was like? Even if I only get half of tcg mid value for it (they usually offer 60-70% for credit), it's still a great deal for me in the end, but still trying to do some due diligence before I just yeet it to that one store.
