So I've only been living in Geelong for 18 months or so, and I'm having to move house again, and I've been told by numerous people to avoid Whittington at all costs. I'm being told that it's dangerous, my house will get broken into, my child will get kidnapped, robbed, or assaulted on their way to the bus stop, that it's full of drugs and violent crime. Surely it can't be that bad, right? Or do I take these people at their word?
My Bissell Powerlifter Pet, which I have had for roughly 6 years, recently died, and I have no idea where to even start looking to replace it. I did like the vacuum but it wasn't without it's faults.
I have a child, a cat, and a large dog, with a mix of carpets and hard floors, so I need it to be decently powerful. I have physical disabilities which can make everyday vacuuming difficult, so I was thinking of getting a good upright vacuum for proper, deeper cleaning, and a good stick vacuum for general convenience and upkeep.
I would also prefer to buy online, but I can go instore if I really need too. My total budget is around $800AUD, but preferably lower.
