I am looking for someone in Geelong that can do an in depth skin consultation, recommending professional treatments as well as an affordable at home skin care routine using chemist skin care.
This is for what I believe is hormonal acne / some form of acne, for a late 20 year old female.
I don’t want somewhere that is just going to push the products that they sell that are a crazy price! Consultations and treatments will cost enough without needing to super expensive products for at home.
I’m a lady in her early 30’s asking where are all the datable men in their late 20’s or 30’s. Most men I’ve come across in this city are smokers, alcoholics, addicted to porn, haven't moved on from their ex’s and just want to hook up with random women and aren’t interested in settling down. Where are the men with healthy passions and interests, who aren’t broke and look after themselves. Sincerely a lady who is healthy, independent, successful who has several interests and wants to be with the right person.
My account is new as I’m a long term reddit lurker and finally made an account.
So because of the railways being worked, I can't get my cat to Colac from Melbourne by train. Last train stop is at Waurn ponds. Does anyone know if there is any cab or uber that can take me and my cat to colac? Thank you
Looking at roles with TAC and WorkSafe and trying to get a better sense of what the culture is actually like day to day.
Keen to hear from anyone who’s worked at either (or both):
- Is it more collaborative or pretty siloed?
- How’s the pace and pressure?
- Any noticeable cultural differences between TAC and WorkSafe?
- What’s management like (supportive vs KPI-heavy)?
- Work-life balance in reality vs what’s advertised
Appreciate any honest insights—good or bad.
i feel like im in biologcal warfare is it just fog??
Really struggling to find a local installer.
Anyone have any recommendations?
Thanks!
Saw this in a local shopping centre. While I don’t own a EV I was under the impression they had to be charged in designated parking spots. Also, don’t you have to pay to charge?

Hi there,

Hi everyone! I'm Caitlin, Head of Production at a marketing agency in Melbourne.
We're on the lookout for Victorian-based people who have compelling first-person stories about being scammed, and would be comfortable being in front of camera, for a national anti-scam campaign.
This is a paid opportunity and would require a day of your time at a studio in Melbourne. You would also be required to complete a police check as a part of our campaign vetting process.
If you or someone you know can relate to the above and are interested in being involved please DM me.
Cheers.
Caitlin
p.s. I know this sounds like a scam but I assure you its not!

Glad I didnt pay 50 bucks to chuck one of these barely lit things in the water, they all floated to one end too, hardly lanterns are they??
Hi all,
I’m about to get Medicare and trying to figure out whether it makes sense to keep private health insurance or drop it altogether. Currently, I'm paying ~$315/month for a family cover (Bupa). Keen to hear what others have done in practice.
A few things I’m wondering about:
Would really appreciate hearing personal experiences and what’s worked (or not worked) for you.
Thanks!
So I just learnt that tomorrow night is the Water Lantern Festival at Eastern Beach.
I’m curious and a little frustrated.
For these reasons:
-There is little to no information about the actual festival and what it entails
- How can a community event on the waterfront be ticketed at $51 online and $83 at the ‘door’. That’s insanely expensive and exclusive.
- They have denied back legit local performing artist to be included.
-if it’s lanterns there’s cultural appropriation and environmental issues here, especially when there’s little to no context here.
-they’ve bragged about running for 9 years and releasing over 2 million lanterns
Can someone explain what this is haha, it’s voted best festival by USA today apparently, merica 🇺🇸
It’s finally been confirmed. The Coles at 162a High Street Belmont, once a Bi-Lo supermarket before it was converted into Coles in the mid-2000s, is permanently closing on 21st June 2026 to make way for a newer, bigger Coles on the same site. Signs aren’t up on the building yet given it’s only 2 months away but staff at the store have this week confirmed the closure date, I’d expect those to start going up next month.
This will mark the end of a duo Coles in the Belmont area, with another Coles also operating down the road at the Belmont Village Shopping Centre. That one will remain open whilst the new store up the road is being built. Once that’s completed and it’s ready to open, Coles at Belmont Village will be permanently closing to make way for The Fresh Food People.
