My daughter is looking to get central AC installed and started getting quotes. First guy gave 3 quotes. One is a a Lennox Mini split heat pump with an air handler in the attic and a wall mounted unit for one bedroom. $33600 Second is lennox heat pump air handler no wall mounted unit $29300. Third is central ac Rheem 2 ton SEER 13.4 with attic mounted air handler and duct work. $25000. House is a 1 story ranch style with an attic. Prices seem high to me. This is about 30 miles outside Boston. Any opinions?
