2 of my friends got rejected/waitlisted from sauder and i’m very worried. i’m still in grade 11 and i want to go to sauder next year but seeing one of my friends who has really good grades (prob like a 95+ average with very difficult academic courses) getting rejected from sauder is bringing my hopes down….ofc grades aren’t everything, and ik that admissions are holistic, i’m just very surprised because he’s a very smart guy. i was talking to him today and he said for his pp he wrote about being president of a religious/cultural club and mentioned that he believes ubc doesn’t gaf about racial equity. (one of my other friends is also founder/prez of a cultural club also wrote about it for their pp and got waitlisted at sauder). i also have a leadership role in a cultural club atm and its one of my most high impact/main ecs that i wanted to write about. ik its only 2 ppl who ik who got rejected/waitlisted who wrote about racial diversity so i cant say much, but is there anyone who wrote about racial equity/cultural ecs and got into sauder? i plan on working on my apps in the summer should i not write about racial equity?

i plan on applying to ubc sauder, sfu beedie, uoft rotman, and western for ivey aeo next year but my precalc 11 grade is currently looking very low, and realistically speaking i’m probably gonna end the course with a low 90. i want to retake precalc 11 online, but from teachers i hear that universities don’t like when students take summer school/online courses and end with a 95+ since it’s unrealistic and majority of the time that grade is because of bonus marks or they just cheated on their online unit tests. can universities see if you took a course in summer school or online?
also another question i have is are repeated courses considered by uoft or western? i hear that ontario universities won’t consider course retakes, so should i just risk my low precalc 11 grade or not apply to ontario unis altogether if they’re not gonna consider my retake…
i’m also very worried because i plan on taking physics 11 online because i had the worst teacher ever which made me drop the course, as well as taking chem 11 in the summer. i have not taken any science 11 in school, will universities see this and if i end up getting a 95+ in these courses, will they think i faked it?

just wondering

self studying ap micro and i’ve only taught myself units 3 and 4. units 1 and 2 i already learned in my school’s standard economics class which i need to review but i haven’t taught myself 5 and 6 and i’m feeling really unconfident about units 3 and 4 am i cooked can i still score a 4-5. i also haven’t started reviewing or doing practice frqs and mcqs. i was aiming for a 5 but atp now a 4 seems impossible.
