Hi everyone! My dad and I are taking a short 2 night trip to the Smoky Mountains on our road trip in a couple weeks (I'm graduating from school and we wanted to make an adventure of getting the car back home).

I am in good shape, and for 80 years old, he is doing VERY well. But, considering his age, I'd love to find moderately challenging hikes that won't put him in too dangerous of a situation. I've done a bit of research on my own, but curious about people's personal experiences.

Also, places to stay and eat would be much appreciated : ) we're trying to spend as little money as possible and while I would be down to car camp, I feel my dad would prefer a cheap hotel lol. Thank you!
