I have absolutely zero dlcs for truck sim but I am born and raised Illinois. Do I have to buy all the connecting dlc states to Illinois to be able to drive there or can i get the dlc and just teleport into Illinois?

I am looking to upgrade my frame and body of my AX-24 but don’t want to dump nearly 300 dollars in it right now. Can I get a LGRP comp frame and shove my motor and transmission and esc in the lgrp frame or do I need aftermarket? I assumed I can use my axles and it does come with links. Any advice is welcome. Thanks!
