Hey guys, longtime lurker, first time poster.
After a full year off searching, I've finally found my the 911 I've been searching for, and this Friday I'll taking a 6 hour roadtrip each way to pick up my new to me 07 997 Targa 4s!
Safe to say I'm incredibly excited. I'm pretty happy with the deal I've got on it, tho it does need a few things sorting to make me really happy with it!
First and foremost, new tires!
It's only been driven 700 miles the last 2 years and the current boots only having seen ~2,000 miles over their 4 year life.
The car has the 19" factory wheels on it with the current tyre sizes being 235/3/r19 and 305/30/r19.
I wanted to get a set of Michelin pilot sport 4s, but my local trusted tyre place recommended 2s for the fitment instead.
This is all a long way of saying, I need some new tyres but I want some advice from you guys with plenty of miles in the seat.
The car is going to be my daily though the summer and autumn before it's likely garaged though most of the winter. That being said, I need a set of tyres that can handle all conditions (I live in the UK so they can change pretty frequently).
