Question about rotas and being messed around with them
Good afternoon all, hope you're all well
I come with a question and some context,
I have recently just come back to work from sick leave and started back at my DO 3 weeks ago and for those past 3 weeks I've not known my days off until the day before and have just been messed around in general.
Week 1 I was yellowed out on the rota had to keep checking the prep plan the day before to make sure I was in each day (I was in Monday to Friday on my first week) since I was not having the rota communicated with me and was only told my day off on the Thursday night saying "You're off Saturday" (Not done driver changeover yet)
Week 2 (this is the week with the bank holiday Monday) I was penned in only for Wednesday and Friday on the rota as my boss said "I'm taking it light on you since you've just come back from your injury" this was also stated in front of my union rep which I have since explained the full situation to him and he's kept saying "It's nothing new, he'll never change" anyways back to it, On Tuesday since I wasn't penned in for work nor on the prep plan I decided to have a little lie in then half an hour after the normal start time I get a call from my boss asking where I was, I explained I assumed I was off since I wasn't penned in on the rota or told in advance I was on a walk to which he replied saying "You should never assume you're just off when you're not on the rota" which I just sacked it an came in, same situation with Saturday as well again, nothing on prep plan and nothing on rota despite checking the day before on the next days prep plan
Week 3 (this week) I was penned in to have Tuesday off, this hasn't happened and I still haven't been told what my day off will be, (Still don't know despite tomorrow it being Thursday and it's either Friday or Saturday I have off (obvs)
I'm genuinely lost with what to do and I have no clue who to contact or get in touch with about my situation, Any advice and tips would be much appreciated, (this is my question on who to contact with these issues etc) Tia <3
