I [35 F] have a daughter [15 amab], and I struggle to take her clothes shopping. I want her to be able to have all the cute outfits she asks for, but all I can think about is if someone is going to clock her while shes wearing it. I dont want clothes shopping to be all about, "Is this going to hold your breast form in place, and completely hide your bulge" But I can't seem to focus on anything else. How do I let her shop as a girl instead of a trans person? Are there certain styles of clothes that would make it easier? Shes tall and lanky, and wears a size 13 shoe in woman. She wants dresses and skirts, but has to shop in the adults section. A lot of the clothes they have that are her style show more skin than a child her age should be wearing. How do I find school appropriate clothes that dont make her look like shes 30 years old and going to work? We have been able to find shoes for her online, but she really wants to go in store to try shoes on, but I cant find a store that sells size 13 in woman's in store.
