My original engagement ring was a 2ct natural round diamond (lab didn’t exist back then). Two years ago, my husband surprised me with wanting to do a ten year upgrade. I went with a 5ct lab for my center stone. It’s set in platinum and the rest of the stones are natural diamonds (it’s a designer ring and their setting only comes in natural diamonds). The band is my original one in platinum with natural diamonds from the same designer.

I decided on the emerald cut as I loved the very intense flashes that pop out of it and it just looks so classic and regal to me. Recently found this subreddit and wanted to share. ☺️
