If you read Christian books on Kindle, you probably know the pain:
you see “Romans 8:28” → you want to read it → you have to leave the book and search for it.
I built a tool that fixes this automatically.
You give it an EPUB and it:
- Detects Bible references in the text (English and Spanish)
- Converts them into tappable links
- When you tap them on Kindle, the verse appears as a popup (or a footnote), without leaving the book
It basically makes Bible references behave like modern footnotes.
For legal reasons, it currently uses public domain Bible translations, so they are a bit older (World English Bible and Reina Valera 1909).
I originally built this just for myself, but decided to publish it in case it helps someone else. It’s free to use and I don’t plan to turn it into a big product — it will probably only receive bug fixes or very necessary improvements.
