Greetings everyone! Marlin Dark series in at least the 44 mag is available at Sportsmans Warehouse locations in NY and PA. They seem to somehow get these in on the regular now, I am awaiting the NY background check as we speak. They DO have another on the rack in the Rochester store. It can of course be ordered and shipped to an FFL if needed, but grab it while it is here.

Greetings. I am sure I stated that a bit incorrect. A friend helped me measure my seating depth, chamber length with a Hornady gage. The measurement came out at 2.882 and he said to play around with 10ths and make some batches.

2.882 is longer than the 2.081 listed everywhere including my Speer manual. Is it safe to have a longer overall round? I have been seating the bullet to get an overall length of 2.79 whatever.
