Bottom line, I’ve felt crappy for years. After blood test, had TgAb of 150, GP doctor said “we’ll watch it”. I move out of state, get new GP, I told him about high TgAb, re-tested and at 85..but no other elevated thyroid values. He immediately told me I had Hashimoto’s and put me on Synthroid 25mcg.
I have not felt better in years but I am now trying to understand if TgAb antibodies can cause issues but not be directly related to elevated hormone levels. Also, from what I understand, Synthroid does not directly impact antibody levels and if that is the case, why have my symptoms been reduced? TIA

I am so tagged, I must see 20 ads a day for Hashimoto’s products.

I’m so gullible, I look at them and say “that makes sense”..and then I remember they are just trying to make money and most likely will not help with Hashimoto’s.

Has anyone actually had success with any of these programs, supplement or treatments?
