Air Touring; 2.9.0 - so far, huge(?) step in the right direction
Disclaimer here that I realize everyone's experience might be different. But I wanted to offer a ray of positivity for those who might be curious how the Air is performing today, post the 2.9.0 patch.
2.9.0 is shaping up to be one of the best Air (Touring '25) updates I've received since buying the car a year+ ago.
The UI feels noticeably snappier and more polished overall. Very much looking forward to more on this when we hit 3.0 later this year.
Bluetooth/call quality is seriously night & day. Before this update, people constantly missed the first few words I said on calls. Since 2.9.0, my voice is coming through immediately and clearly from sentence start to finish. Huge quality-of-life improvement that makes the car feel way more premium day-to-day.
Separately, and this wasn't mentioned in the patch notes, but: my car's real time status would rarely populate in the app when it was connected via cellular, and my phone via wifi, or vice versa. Today, I witnessed the status actively changing whilst charging at the office, while phone/car were on alternate means of connection. A minor convenience to know the charge level whilst at my desk, but today marked the moment I finally felt the app working, albeit in a small shift.
Anyone else noticing the same? I'd love some data points to throw against my observations to ensure I'm not projecting...
