I’m currently on Semaglutide and just took my 3rd dose of 0.25 mg. My first dose didn’t have any noticeable effect—no side effects or appetite suppression, which I understand can be normal at this stage. After my second dose, I experienced mild to moderate side effects like nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea for a day or two. I lost around 2.5 kg during that time, but I’m pretty sure it was mostly water weight since I gained about 1.5 kg back the next day (I did eat quite a bit, including outside food, during both weeks). My concern is that I’m not really seeing consistent appetite control yet, and my weight is almost back to where I started. Is this normal during the titration phase? Does appetite suppression usually kick in later at higher doses? Also, should I actively control my eating right now, or does the medication eventually help with that on its own? Would really appreciate hearing others’ experiences.
