My friend tried to book a flight from TRV to Doha through the Qatar Airways website. At the payment stage, he selected online banking. The amount was deducted from his account, but he never received any booking confirmation.

When we contacted Qatar Airways, they said no booking exists and they didn’t receive the payment. However, both the bank and the payment gateway (CCAvenue) confirmed that the transaction was successful and the money was transferred to the merchant.

It’s now been over a month, and we’ve been going back and forth between all three parties (bank, payment gateway, and airline) with no resolution.

Has anyone faced a similar issue? What’s the best way to escalate this or file a formal complaint?
