Hi everyone,

I made a post here earlier about a kitten I rescued, and I wanted to give an update while also asking for some advice.

I’ve been taking care of him for a little over a month now, and he’s honestly become very special to me. Unfortunately, his health has been quite unstable, and the vet expenses are starting to become overwhelming.

I’ve tried to be responsible and looked into more affordable options here in Doha. I checked places like Sanam Vet and the government veterinary clinic. The government vet is free, but their hours are very limited and it’s quite far from where I live, so I haven’t been able to make it there in time. Sanam Vet used to be more affordable, but recently their prices have increased significantly.

In just about 5 weeks, I’ve already spent around 1400 QAR across 4 vet visits, which is really starting to strain me financially.

My kitten has been through a lot:

• He previously lost function in his back legs and had to drag himself (the vet suspects an old injury, possibly from a car accident when he was very young)
• Recently he developed hypothermia and diarrhea
• As of now, he hasn’t eaten for the past 24 hours and has become very weak

Someone kind has already helped me cover part of the costs, which I’m really grateful for. But I’m still struggling to keep up, and if anyone is able to contribute even a little, it would honestly make a big difference in helping me get him back to full health.

I’ve built an amazing bond with him over this time, and I really don’t want to lose him.

If anyone in Doha knows:

• Affordable vets or clinics
• Animal charities or organizations that can help
• Or can offer any support or advice

My question specifically relates to wearing the whole package - shemagh, ghutra and agal. My intention in wearing these is not to pose as a Qatari or any other Khaleeji group. I simply like the way the attire looks and find it to be functional in the GCC climate. While I'd like to think a notion like cultural appropriation is a western concept, I am aware that there are natives that may not appreciate it on account of misrepresentation of or disrespect to the culture. On that note, I've made sure to continue learning how to wear these items in the correct and respcted manner with the hopes of not causing offence to anyone. I've already worn the Qatari style agal but am more drawn towards the Saudi style which doesn't have the karakeesh. 

Is it an issue for me as a non-arab to wear any of these items? And if I had to wear them frequently, would that be a problem?

 I don't know if this is okay to post but if ever someone saw someone TRYING to post somewhere this KIDS ELECTRIC SCOOTER cool baby exclusively bought this from this shop so I think it's rarely you can see the same style. As we usually walk in Al Muntaza park we just put it in the entrance of the playground and someone stole it and couldn't find it any more even with the help of security. It's the first time it happened even every day we leave it there.

I'm a student that is in need of urgent help, but my family is not helping me documents wise, I heard the Red Crescent offer some quick help such as food stamps and quick cash, I need it for my medication and have food.

I'm a fourth year and near graduation just need a final push for my upcoming months, has anyone had experience with Red Crescent in such situations? And if anyone has any solutions please mention it.

My brother stuck in Qatar his employer did three cases since last year absconding case than financial case than fraud case he spend time in prison also but by Grace of ALLAH all cases are won he proved innocent, travel ban lifted now he wants to exit but the employer has used 5% travel exit ban and but exit ban on my brother and demanding money otherwise he will put more case. He goes to immigration also they said try to talk to employer he did everything but still.

Can someone advice the fatest way to resolve this EMPLOYER WILL NOT GIVE EXIT PERMIT THATS FOR SURE
