I'm porting over 4 phone lines from Telus to Rogers today, with an average $30 monthly plan. When I got on chat with the online agent to do the transfer number stufff, she somehow ported the numbers to the wrong lines. I clearly told her I need number A to transfer to line A, etc. I just had a bad feeling when she said everything had been successfully done, so I checked my account immediately. And.. I am right. I caught it immediately, but it's too late as she was offline. I called in and explained about half an hour to get it sorted out. I also filed a complaint with the Rogers office about the whole mess. That's about 11 am today.
I checked online again to make sure all 4 phone lines are in my profile. At that time it was all right.
At 1:57 pm I got an email from the office of the president, Rogers apologizing and saying, "We see you have 4 lines with Rogers now." Great, finally sorted, right?
Nope.
I just logged into my account to double-check everything and only 2 lines are showing up. The other 2 are just… gone. Vanished?!. Like they never existed. With 3 minutes away when the email was sent to me.
How does a company this size mess up something this basic? Wrong numbers on the wrong lines, then half the account disappears after they email me confirming it's all there. I haven't even made my first call to others yet, and I'm already on my third support interaction. And it shows I have 80 people ahead of me. Jesus
