Cast iron flange too high
Ripped out existing tile that was fully mortared in with lathe. It was very thick.
New hardiebacker+plywood leaves a significant gap between what will be the tile and the flange.
What is the best thing to do here? I'm thinking I just have to cut the flange off then cut the pipe level with the tile and insert a new flange into the cast iron pipe with it sitting on top of the tile?

My ez trap flexible tubing has a crack/leak in it. This is my hvac drain line.
What do I replace it with? Just normal pvc or should I replace with a similar flexible/clear material?

Has anyone gone to this and can tell me what the food portions are like? Tapas Night is 10/dollar a plate.
I'm just wondering how filling these are.
Thanks
