NOT A MEME, SMELLS GOOD WITHOUT THE MENTAL BIAS

NOT A MEME, SMELLS GOOD WITHOUT THE MENTAL BIAS

I went to my sisters house last week and went I entered the door I received a nice little orange juice scent in the air, didn't think much about it, but I thought it was a really good scent.

And about 5 minutes later my nephew walked by me and didn't say hello so I grab him by the armpits and try to tackle him like I always do lol. When I lift the little guy up he smelled like a literal Orange juice and lemonade combined. It was so nice. So I asked my sister if he wears her husbands perfume (My nephews dad) she told me he doesn't but got worried that he had been playing around with his dads perfume. So we go to his room and find out that he sprayed almost half his Cars perfume on himself.

I actually thought it was a nice, wearable and appealing perfume. Don't know about the longevity though, but i smelled it in the whole house, but let's take into consideration that he sprayed half a bottle on himself 😆

So this left me thinking,

How many scents do we not enjoy just because we think it's cheap or doesn't have a brand name? What if we can take that mental bias out of ourselves and let us enjoy cheap, yummy things, and stop acting like like we're above that, and stop pretending we can't have simple taste.

Normalizing Obesity is like normalizing anorexia

If you see a person with anorexia that's basically just bones and she asks you '' I think I'm too fat'' would you tell them ''No, you look like in your prime''? No right? Because It's clearly not healthy at all and also not true, you're just going to feed their delusion. So If an obese person asks you for their opinion why does everybody say the look great? Why is it when your friend has been sleepless for several days you have the courage to say to them ''you look pretty bad, you should consider healthier sleep'' and not '' You look pretty obese, this can harm you in the long run, you should lose some weight?''.
