World Hat Walk, Napier, New Zealand

5 of us did the walk on a warm and sunny but windy Autumn Day. Living in an Art Deco city that has two Art Deco festivals each year (Summer and Winter) is a reason to collect hats and wear them.

Ready for the World Hat Walk in Napier, New Zealand this morning

The weather has gone our way, and we will walk through the Art Deco capital of New Zealand today. It is harder to find someone in Napier who doesn't own a hat as we have two Art Deco festivals each year.

My 3-piece knitset and bag are from a 1930s knitting pattern. The hat, created by a New Zealand designer, was purchased from the Napier Antiques Centre in 2023.
