Best Heat Press Machine for small shop use?

we’ve been getting more small apparel requests lately and i’m starting to think it might be worth adding a heat press instead of turning everything away or outsourcing the simple stuff

not trying to jump into full apparel production overnight, mostly thinking short runs, DTF/sublimation transfers, maybe occasional shirts/hoodies/totes for existing customers. i’ve been looking around but it’s hard to tell what’s actually shop-worthy vs hobby-grade stuff that looks fine online but won’t hold temp/pressure consistently

main things i’m wondering about are even pressure, accurate temp, platen size, auto-open vs manual, clamshell vs swing-away, and whether it’s worth spending more upfront if it saves headaches later

Best Multi Cooker Pot for slow cooking?

thinking about getting a multi cooker pot, but i’m mostly interested in using it for slow cooking. i don’t have a ton of kitchen space, so the idea of one appliance that can slow cook, sauté, maybe steam/rice cook/etc sounds useful. but i keep seeing mixed opinions where some people say multi cookers are fine, and others say they don’t slow cook as evenly as a regular Crock-Pot. mainly use it for stuff like stews, pulled chicken, pot roast, chili, soups, and easy low-effort meals where i can throw everything in and not think about it for hours. i don’t really care about having 20 fancy modes if the slow cook function is mediocre

Best Heating Pad for Rotator Cuff recovery?

i’m dealing with rotator cuff/shoulder recovery stuff and one thing i keep going back and forth on is whether a shoulder-specific heating pad is actually worth getting

not asking for medical advice or anything, i’ll still go by what my PT/doctor says on when to use heat vs ice. i’m more wondering about the practical side from people who have actually been through this

i’ve seen the heating pads that wrap around the shoulder, but i can’t tell if they’re actually comfortable or if they shift around, barely cover the right spot, or end up being more annoying than helpful. mostly looking for something that sits well on the shoulder/upper arm area and doesn’t require me to constantly hold it in place

if you used one during recovery or for shoulder pain, did it actually help make things more manageable? and was there a specific style you liked better than a regular heating pad?

Best vacuum for mattress cleaning?

keep seeing those mattress vacuums and i can’t tell if they’re actually useful or just one of those cleaning gadgets that makes a problem look more dramatic than it is. already vacuum my mattress once in a while with a regular vacuum, mostly for dust, hair, and just general grossness, but i keep wondering if the dedicated mattress ones actually do a noticeably better job or if it’s basically the same result with better marketing. i’m not trying to turn mattress cleaning into a full hobby, just figure out if one would actually make a difference enough to be worth owning

if you’ve used one, did it end up feeling worth it? or was a normal vacuum with the right attachment basically good enough?

been eyeing collapsible mop buckets because storing a normal bucket in a small place somehow feels more annoying than the actual mopping part. like the idea of something that folds down and gets out of the way, but i can also see it being one of those things that sounds clever until it’s half full of water and suddenly feels flimsy or awkward to carry. most of my cleaning is just regular floor stuff, nothing intense, so i’m mostly wondering if one actually makes life easier or if it’s better in theory than in practice. if you’ve used one, did it end up being worth it? and did it actually hold up once you were using it like a normal mop bucket instead of just admiring how compact it was?

i’m trying to find a face sunscreen i can actually wear every day without immediately regretting it once makeup goes on. i know daily sunscreen is non-negotiable, but i keep running into the same problem where something feels fine on bare skin and then starts pilling, separating, or making everything look weird the second i add makeup on top. at this point i care just as much about how it wears under makeup as i do about the sunscreen part itself.

i’m mostly looking for something that feels lightweight, doesn’t turn greasy halfway through the day, and plays nicely with normal makeup without making the whole routine more annoying. if you’ve found one that actually works for daily use and doesn’t fight your makeup, what ended up being worth it for you?

i’ve been looking at massage roller sticks lately because my legs always seem to hold onto that post-ride tightness longer than i want, especially after harder efforts or back-to-back days. i already do the usual stretch a little, walk it off, try to not sit like a statue after rides, but i keep wondering if a roller stick is actually useful enough to earn a spot in the routine or if it’s one of those things that feels interesting for a week and then disappears into a corner. i’m mostly thinking quads, calves, and that general “legs feel cooked but not totally destroyed” kind of soreness

if you’ve used one for cycling, did it actually help at all with recovery or stiffness? and did you end up liking it more than a foam roller, or not really?
