What's the chance I can get my first Pharma Tech (Trainee) job somewhere like a compounding pharmacy or sterile?
I heard that it's possible to get a job at a compounding pharmacy, or in sterile prep, for a much more 'quiet' version of pharmacy tech.
Is there a chance of getting one of these jobs as a trainee, or is it basically impossible without your cert first?
I do very well with details, rules, repetitive tasks, and following orders. I do NOT thrive whatsoever in any role where I have to deal with rude, demanding, or impatient 'customers,' and I do NOT do well in physically demanding jobs, hence why I figured my only real options for a 'stable' and 'safe' job were maybe to try medical data entry, or pharmacy tech (medical/pharma/hospital being 'safe' and 'stable' because they are in constant demand).
I'm very much hoping to avoid being the 'cashier' type person (customer-facing/customer interactions) for my well being (I have autism, not self diagnosed, professionally diagnosed, and I fear for my future if I can't get a job where I can work in 'peace' and stability - all my previous jobs I never held down for more than 2-3 months because of the customer interactions & physical demands, I want something relatively quiet and working with coworkers)
